Victoria Carter: Women of Influence Finalist
Auckland Arts Festival Chairwoman is honoured as a finalist in the 2014 Women of Influence Awards for her contribution to the Arts.
We are very pleased to announce our Chairwoman, Victoria Carter has been named as a finalist for the 2014 Women of Influence Awards in the Arts Category.
Victoria Carter has been a trustee on our Auckland Arts Festival board since 1999 and has been instrumental in the Festival's positive direction. Since 2009 she has been the Festival Chair, overseeing growth into the significant, annual event on the Auckland calendar that we know and love today while outside of the Festival, she is a Director and Businesswoman in her own right. Last year she was named in the first international ‘40 Women Over 40’ list compiled by the 40:20 Vision Board in New York.
These awards aim to identify the bold, energetic women who are helping shape New Zealand and its future. Women who are having an impact well beyond their formal roles and titles at local, regional and national levels.
